About Course

Learn the basics of Scratch Programming. Every output of each module will create a simple game and animation using Scratch 3.0.

What Will You Learn?

  • 1) Scratch allows for young people to integrate creativity in storytelling, games, and animation.
  • 2) Scratch allows students to develop 21st century skills through the use of technology.
  • 3) Scratch can be used by people of all ages including students from elementary- high school ages, and adults in a variety of settings. Some uses Scratch to program robots.
  • 4) Scratch is a good springboard for young kids who wants to learn more of the programming logic concept moving forward.

In this module, students will learn: -Use a repeat loop to animate a sprite in Scratch -Use a forever loop to repeat an animation indefinitely -Understand that loops can be nested within each other

Lesson 9 – Synchronized Swimming
In this module, students will learn: Use clones to create many sprites all the same Use key pressed events to move sprites Create an animation of Synchronized swimming
